Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, in their daily activities and fostering their independence.
Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities including
- Monitor and record vital signs as required.
- Provide support and guidance in social interactions and community integration.
- Assist with mobility needs including lifting and transferring individuals.
- Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of individual.
- Engage individual in meaningful activities to promote well-being.
- Provide emotional support as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individual
Daily activities include but not limited to personal care, light housekeeping and assist with my active schedule. Flexible schedule, great for college students, or individual looking for job that offers a good work/life balance. Applicants must be able to lift. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license. Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check. Applicant must be able to work a flexible schedule and be able to work some evening.
