Responsibilities
- Assist the individual with daily living activities (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Facilitate social interactions and community outings to enhance social skills and community integration
- Collect data on progress towards individual goals to inform care planning and reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, activities conducted, and observations during shifts
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong caregiving abilities with a focus on assisting with ADLs and promoting independence
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with individuals, families, and team members
- Valid driver’s license for transportation needs during community outings
- Compassionate approach to caregiving with a focus on person-centered support and social work principles
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
