Pay: $20/hour On the job mileage reimbursement

Schedule: 1-2 days weekly between the hours of 11:00 AM-5:00 PM

Are you someone who is patient, dependable, and enjoys helping others live meaningful lives? Do you love pets, farm animals, gardening, outdoor activities?

A gentleman with mild intellectual disabilities in Towanda is looking for a part-time support to assist him with daily living and community activities. He enjoys gardening, taking daily walks, running errands and food shopping, gluten-free cooking, researching on the computer, and reading together. Seasonally he is interested in hunting and fishing. He is looking for someone who shares those interests. This is a tobacco-free household.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support with daily living tasks in-home and in the community.

· Assist with transportation to appointments and outings.

· Join in recreational and social activities.

· Follow gluten-free recipes, help with errands and household routines.

· Accurately complete documentation and records.

· Communicate and collaborate with the individual’s family.

· Bring positivity, patience, and joy each day.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, registration, and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to undergo background checks
• Physically able to walk and assist with mobility tasks
• Physically able to work outdoors, stand for long periods of time, lift up to 40 pounds.
• Experience in intellectual disabilities preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
