Live in (move in) Caregiver

Overview

Looking for a mature caring woman to share my beautiful home with me in Liverpool, NY. Live-in Caregiver/ to move into the home. A woman dedicated to providing exceptional in-home and community care for a woman requiring assistance with daily activities as applicable. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while promoting independence, safety, and comfort in a supportive environment.

As a Live-in Caregiver, you will be an essential part of enhancing quality of life through personalized care, ensuring respectful, attentive, and professional support around the clock. This position is paid for all awake time that you'd be on the clock/not sleep time and includes the benefit of living on-site in a beautiful home rent and utilty free to deliver continuous care and companionship. You will be paid 20/21 dollars per hour for approx between 32 to 55 hours per week based on scheduling preferences. Provide your own reliable transportation for you and, mileage reimbursement for traveling together. Must pass a criminal background/fingerprint check.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to support dignity and independence.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to agency regulations and enjoy the home and other supports coming in.
• Support to other team members.
• Manage household tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation tailored to dietary needs, and maintaining a hygienic living space.

Experience

• Prior experience preferred but not necessary.
• Demonstrate knowledge of good support strategies.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized caregiving approaches is a plus, yet not required.
• Familiarity with home & community care regulations, ensures compliance and quality service delivery.
• Previous live-in employment experience is advantageous but not necessary for understanding the unique demands of 24/7 caregiving roles.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction and documentation are essential for success in this role.
• Sign language experience is beneficial, although not required. Woman is deaf and yet can make her needs and wants known to others and is fun to be with. She loves arts and crafts and beautiful things and so much more.

This is a paid position for all on the clock time you do, (to be determined based on availability and other caregiver's schedules, etc) and not for sleep time. You'd be in a rent/utility free situation with a monthly food stipend. This offers the unique opportunity to live in the home while providing vital support and develop a lasting good friendship.
