Job Summary Seeking a fun loving and compassionate caregiver for middle-aged developmentally disabled male. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to client in his home and community promoting independence, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist client with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being
- Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation, and ensuring a clean living environment
- Observe and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to super-visor.
- Support clients with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities when needed.
Experience
- Prior experience in home care or personal caregiving.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with client and family.
MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YRS OLD, PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK, HAVE A HS DEGREE, ALONG WITH A GOOD DRIVING RECORD. REFERENCES REQUIRED.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.30 per hour
