Schedule:
Tuesdays &; Thursdays 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM (16 hours)
Optional Monday 1:30PM - 6:30PM
(Approximate times may vary by about 30 minutes. There is also a possibility of additional
available hours during the week if available )

Required Experience
- Experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong background in ABA principles and therapy.
- Experience with behavior management and behavior support plans.
- Experience working with adults with moderate autism, including impulsive behaviors.
- Ability to follow behavior support plans and maintain consistency.
- Strong observational skills and clear communication with family and team.

Transportation & Legal Requirements

Job Description:
We are seeking a patient, reliable, and compassionate female Personal Assistant/Caregiver to
support an adult female (34 yo) with moderate autism and limited verbal communication. The
client lives with a loving family and has a friendly and cheerful personality who enjoys social
interaction. She is very capable and independent but does have impulsive behavior. She
receives ABA therapy, and this role works collaboratively with her therapy goals while focusing
on social recreation, daily living support, safety, and meaningful engagement.
Responsibilities
Assist in the community setting for social recreational activities
Support communication using verbal prompts
Reinforce strategies and routines recommended by the ABA therapy team
Assist with emotional regulation and transitions between activities
Provide structure, supervision, and encouragement toward independence
Assist with daily activities at home (occasionally), with supervision, and light household
tasks related to the individual such as simple cooking (such as making turkey sandwich
or Mac ’n cheese).
Assist at swimming, supervision, secure personal belongings in the locker, changing,
showering, blow drying hair, etc.
