Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our private practice. In this vital role, you will provide advanced clinical care, perform comprehensive patient assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans across a diverse range of medical settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with an experienced Internist who is willing to teach. New grads are welcome to apply. You will work in collegial environment and will have an opportunity to discuss every case with the practice owner. Ability to read EKG, perform small office procedures and use POCUS is a plus. If not- no problem- you will have an opportunity to learn them on site. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical issues.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans in accordance with best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Administer medications, including injections.
- Utilize electronic health record eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing or medical imaging techniques such as sonography .
- Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications to foster long-term health improvements.
Experience.
- Familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-10 classifications for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
- Experience working with geriatric populations, adult patients with complex needs such as dialysis or gastrostomy feeding tubes.
Pay: $105,054.72 - $150,603.53 per year
