Summary
The Investment Operations Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the financial services practice of the business. Partnering with the broader Investment & Insurance Operations Team, they will monitor a daily task que and ensure all follow-ups from client meetings are executed swiftly and accurately.
Essential Functions
- Prepare investment paperwork
- Review investment account paperwork for completeness and accuracy
- Onboarding of new investment accounts, including asset transition, account funding and trading
- Proactively communicate with clients and team throughout the onboarding process
- Contact and advise clients on investment service-related items
- Monitor and manage daily alerts
- Perform daily support of retail and advisory investment business
- Actively participate in conservation of existing investment business
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a similar field, or commensurate work experience required
- Life & Health Insurance license required (or ability to obtain)
- Variable Life Insurance License required (or ability to obtain)
- FINRA SIE & Series 7 required (or ability to obtain)
- FINRA Series 63 required (or ability to obtain)
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Proactive, with strong time management and prioritization abilities
- Resourceful, with the ability to problem-solve independently and find creative solutions to challenges
- Collaborative team player with a client-first mindset
- Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
