Job Summary
The Entry-Level Maintenance Technician supports the maintenance team by performing basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop hands-on skills in an industrial setting while learning from experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery
- Perform basic mechanical repairs under supervision
- Respond to maintenance requests from production teams
- Inspect equipment and report potential issues or safety concerns
- Help maintain facility systems such as lighting, compressed air, and basic plumbing
- Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA guidelines
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Accurately document work performed and parts used
- Assist with equipment installations and line changeovers as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical school, vocational training, or coursework in industrial maintenance is a plus
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
Skills & Competencies
