Low Voltage Technician – Travel
We are hiring a Low Voltage Technician to support installations focused on access control systems, along with cameras and structured cabling.
This is a hands-on field role working under project leads. You will be responsible for installing devices, running cable, and completing projects on-site.
This position requires heavy travel (75% nationwide). Candidates must be comfortable being on the road regularly.Pay & Benefits
- $32-$38 per hour (DOE)

What You’ll Do
- Pull, label, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
- Pull and route low-voltage conductor cable (18/2, 18/4, etc.)
- Run cabling for access control systems and cameras
- Wire and terminate access control panels/controllers
- Land and terminate field devices (readers, contacts, REX, etc.)
- Assist engineering team with testing and system bring-up
- Mount devices, enclosures, and equipment racks
- Follow drawings and direction from project leads
- Take photos and complete daily job notes
- Check in daily with Project Manager for updates and direction
What You Need
- 3 years of low voltage or cabling experience
- Experience with both data and conductor cable
- Basic experience with device terminations and panel wiring preferred
- Experience operating scissor lifts and/or boom lifts preferred
- OSHA 10 or lift certification is a plus
- Basic understanding of PoE and IP devices
- Comfortable using tools and working at heights
- Must be able to travel 75% nationwide
- Valid driver’s license required
