Job Summary
Selecta Sol is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and logistics operations within our renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling, storing, and distributing materials efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to work orders
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock control
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA standards
- Assist with labeling, packaging, and staging materials for delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Follow company safety procedures and report any hazards or discrepancies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Work in warehouse or industrial environment (may include heat or cold)
