General Description:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for Human Resources, Data, Office and Financial Systems which support, record and report the activities of the Company.
Job Activities:
Accounting
- Perform A/R and A/P activities, General Ledger entries, balance checking account, credit card reconciliation, and manage and complete fiscal periods reporting
- Provide financial reports using ERP system and maintain report files
- Correspondence with customer A/P and vendor A/R and monitor activities
- Troubleshoot end-of-period balancing problems
Human Resources
- Manage and support employees in the use of Employee Fringe Benefits and Plans
- Assist with and recommend Benefit Plans, Research wages to maintain competitiveness, and perform other cost-control activities related to HR
- Assist managers with reviews, attendance and employee issues and searches, hiring, discharge and discipline
- Manage the 3rd party payroll system
Data and Material Systems
- Work with staff to correct data (eg: purchase orders, prices).
- Manage and perform End Of Month balancing activities
Office
- Manage providers of telephone, internet, computer, and other office equipment and related agreements
Qualifications:
- Organized, Motivated and Ambitious
- Empathetic, Honest and Accountable
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to learn database systems, Crystal Reports and other software.
- Five to ten years of broad office experience with basic principles of accounting preferred
- Possesses good communication skills, maturity and the ability to work with others, and deal frequently with multiple requests.
- A four-year degree in accounting or equivalent business experience.
Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
