Project Manager User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Business Readiness

Overview
The Senior Project Manager, 3rd Party Vendor Testing & Business Readiness, is responsible for driving business readiness and execution across testing phases (SIT and UAT), as well as supporting cutover and deployment coordination for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and financial systems with third-party vendors within a large-scale transformation program.
This role ensures that business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams are prepared, aligned, and able to execute within defined testing windows, with a strong focus on test phase entry, execution quality, and exit readiness.
For System Integration Testing (SIT), the role operates in partnership with the consulting partner, who leads SIT planning and execution. This role ensures that business readiness inputs and coordination with internal technical teams are aligned but does not directly manage SIT execution.
This position specifically supports third-party vendors and trading partners that integrate with or utilize ERP and enterprise systems, ensuring their readiness to successfully execute testing, cutover, and operational transition. The role reports to the Senior Program Manager and is accountable for execution discipline, readiness tracking, and escalation of risks impacting testing, cutover, and go-live outcomes.
The role also supports broader business readiness initiatives required for organizational transformation and operational independence, ensuring operating teams are prepared to execute successfully at go-live.
Key Responsibilities
Drive business readiness for entry into testing phases, ensuring required prerequisites are met.
Partner with consulting teams to validate readiness inputs and coordinate business participation.
Ensure readiness for UAT execution, including business test scenarios, scope, SMEs, and testers.
Facilitate regional readiness reviews and drive closure of readiness gaps.
Coordinate business-side execution during SIT and UAT.
Ensure active participation from business testers, SMEs, process owners, and vendor participants.
Monitor testing progress, engagement levels, and alignment with expected outcomes.
Coordinate defect triage, prioritization, and business validation activities.
Track defect resolution and ensure alignment with business acceptance criteria.
Drive structured exit from testing phases and validate readiness criteria.
Support cutover and deployment planning from a business readiness perspective.
Coordinate activities across business teams, IT, integration teams, vendors, and program leadership.
Maintain visibility into business readiness status, testing progress, risks, dependencies, and RAID logs.
Support governance meetings and provide accurate project status reporting.
Identify risks early and drive corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
8 12 years of project management experience in complex, cross-functional environments.
Experience supporting large-scale ERP or enterprise transformation programs.
Strong experience coordinating global business stakeholders and third-party vendors.
Strong understanding of business processes and end-to-end operational workflows.
Proven ability to influence and hold cross-functional stakeholders accountable.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environments.
