Job Title: Member Services Representative/Healthcare Customer Services Representative
Location: Akron, OH 44305 (LOCAL CANDIDATE ONLY)
Duration: 3 months with (potential extension to long term)
Shift: Mon – Fri | 8AM – 5PM | 40/hrs Weekly
Must have 2 years of customer service, call center, or administrative support experience in Medicare and/or health insurance experience strongly preferred
Training & Orientation:
- 4 Weeks Onsite Training Required in Akron, OH
Position Overview:
The Member Services Representative provides personalized support to Medicare members, handling inquiries related to enrolment, benefits, billing, claims, and authorizations. Requires prior experience in customer service, preferably within Medicare or health insurance. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced call center environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; College coursework preferred.
- More than 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, or administrative support required.
- Background in Medicare and/or health insurance strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and computer-based systems required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Flexibility to adjust schedule based on business needs.
- Attendance is mandatory for orientation weeks.
- Orientation will begin at 8:30am for orientation then the regular scheduled start will be 8:00am
