Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality concrete finishing tasks that bring construction projects to life. Your expertise will ensure smooth, durable, and visually appealing concrete surfaces across commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Duties
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds.
- Install rebar reinforcement and prepare forms according to blueprints and schematics to ensure structural integrity.
- Operate heavy equipment including concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery necessary for efficient pouring and finishing.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute concrete placements and related tasks.
- Apply finishing techniques such as brooming, stamping, caulking, or sealing to achieve desired textures and appearances.
- Perform masonry work including stucco, plastering, and trim carpentry to enhance the aesthetic appeal of finished surfaces.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely during material handling and assist with demolition or restoration projects as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete finishing on commercial or residential construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes related to concrete work.
- Hands-on experience with rebar installation, form building, and blueprint reading.
- Skilled in operating power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and concrete pumping systems.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques such as tile laying, flooring installation, stucco application, and roofing support.
- Knowledge of schematics for equipment operation and project planning.
