Select Hinges manufactures, customizes, packages and ships commercial door hinges. Select Hinges has an open opportunity for an Assembly Associate.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Working as a team to place components in fixtures
- Installing load carrying bearings
- Installing model-specific set screws
- Cleaning and inspecting the finished product for functional and aesthetic defects
- Operating an industrial cut off saw
- Pre-applying lubricant to selected components
- Identifying, recording, and properly disposing of defective material
- Keeping area clean, safe, and functional
The ideal candidate will possess:
- High school diploma/GED
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read, write and understand verbal instructions spoken in English
- Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to routinely lift 15 pounds, and maximum of 25 pounds individually
- Ability to stand for several hours at a time
- Ability to tolerate repetitive motions
