Job Summary
This position will involve working on residential construction and remodeling job sites. Projects may include:
- Siding installation and repairs
- Exterior remodeling
- General construction labor
- Demolition and site prep
- Framing assistance
- Material loading/unloading
- Cleanup and job site organization
- Use of hand and power tools
- Assisting lead carpenters and foremen
We are looking for individuals who are motivated, willing to learn, and able to work efficiently as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Operate basic tools and machinery safely and efficiently, including hand tools, power tools, and small equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
- Support team members in lifting, carrying, and positioning materials or structures as needed
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
Preferred qualifications include:
- Construction or labor experience preferred
- Experience with siding, remodeling, roofing, or carpentry is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work physically throughout the day
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Punctual and dependable
- Ability to follow directions and work safely
