Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 405 Racetrack Rd NE Suite 101, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547

Schedule: Mon - Fri

Compensation: Starting at $25 /hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.

Incentives: $3000 sign on bonus and indefinite student debt benefit repayment option of $200/month

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center in Ft. Walton Beach, FL has an immediate opening for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Join our team of 4 PTs and 1 PTA treating an orthopedic caseload which includes neuro, vestibular, concussion and fall prevention. • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
