Overview
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: Annville, PA
Schedule: Full-time, Monday,Wednesday,Thursday 8am-7pm. Tuesday, Friday 8am-1pm so you can start your weekend early! No Weekends
Compensation: Hourly range $22-$30/hr based on your experience.
Incentives: $200 per month for Student Loan Assistance
Unique Location/Job Details: Growing outpatient PT clinic with 2 PTs, 1 PTA and front desks staff. Looking to add a PTA. Diverse patient mix with ortho, sports medicine and vestibular/post-concussion. Mentorship provided for new grads.
Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
