Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Hand TherapyLocation: Select Physical Therapy – Kissimmee, FLType: Per Diem | Pay: Starting at $26 /hr (based on experience)
Schedule: As needed, Monday–Friday (center hours: 8 AM–7 PM)Bonus: Extra hours available if willing to float to nearby centers (within 30 mins)
Select Physical Therapy in Kissimmee is hiring a per diem COTA to support our outpatient hand therapy team. Work alongside an experienced OT/CHT treating upper extremity orthopedic conditions.

Requirements:
- FL COTA license
- 1 year hand therapy experience preferred, or new grad with hand fieldwork
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.
- Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
- Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services.
- Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals
- Ensure proper documentation of patient care.
- Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
- National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED
- Must have previous experience working with hand therapy patients
- 1 year hand therapy experience preferred, or new grad with hand fieldwork
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Valid state driver’s license
