Job Description:
Select Milling, LLC is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team. This position will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of all types of equipment in a fast-paced environment. The Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety, as well as assisting in the daily operations of the shop.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, repair, and install equipment including Pumps, Valves, Brakes, Tires etc.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all types of equipment including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection/replacement.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Required: To perform this job successfully an individual must have excellent communication skills (written & oral) along with the ability to read and write English with basic math skills. Additionally this person must possess the ability to use common mechanical tools (hand tools/power tools). The successful candidate will also be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
