- Oversees the coordination of all clinical documentation required for completion of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI), and provides oversight regarding the length of stay in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Conducts ongoing review of the CMS data submitted and the patient’s medical record to assure that the documentation is accurate and that the data is congruent.
- Supervises PPS Coordinator(s) in performing PPS related job functions.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), PT, OT or SLP required
- Minimum of two years experience in rehabilitation or a closely related field required.
- Experience in Utilization Review preferred
- Experience in Management preferred
- Experience in ICD-10 coding preferred
- Experience as a Case Manager in rehabilitation preferred
