Manual Lathe Machinist

We are looking for an experienced Manual Lathe Machinist to complement our existing staff and help meet increasing demand!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Manual machine setup and operation
• Follow fabrication procedures established by previous machinists
• Develop and document new fabrication procedures based on provided prints
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of issues in a timely fashion
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance of the shop and equipment
• Log and record readings for equipment and procedures

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manual machining and related fields is required
• Familiarity with plant tools and equipment, particularly measurement tools is required
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle physical workload, including regularly lifting loads in excess of 50 lbs is required
• Ability to work without supervision is required
