Job Summary
The HR Intern will support day-to-day human resources operations for Select Home Health & Hospice, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare recruiting, employee onboarding, HR systems, and administrative processes. This role will provide exposure to the HR functions that support our employees and help ensure our teams are equipped to provide quality care to the patients and families we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day HR tasks and administrative support.
- Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate outreach, and applicant tracking.
- Learn and assist with Paycom functions and employee records.
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Gain exposure to payroll processes, timekeeping, and employee documentation.
- Assist with maintaining employee files, tracking required documents, and completing audits.
- Help with HR projects, reports, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program related to human resources, business, or a related field, or a recent graduate.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new systems and HR processes.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
