MPL Rental is Hiring: Maintenance Technician Supervisor

Location: Lebanon, PA | Pay Range: $26–$32/hour | Full TIme 40-45/h/w

MPL Rental is looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician Supervisor to oversee and support the maintenance department across multiple apartment communities in the Lebanon and Lancaster areas. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, strong technical skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist in the maintenance and upkeep of apartments, buildings, common areas, and grounds.
• Respond to and complete service requests as directed by management.
• Lead and participate in the apartment turnover process, ensuring timely and high-quality turn-key performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal grounds duties as needed.
• Organize and maintain the safety of the Maintenance Shop and equipment inventory.
• Inspect properties for cleanliness, trash removal, and potential lease violations.
• Effectively communicate with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards and procedures.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in appliance repair, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must provide your own basic hand tools.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours and participate in the on-call rotation every other week.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 70 lbs) and assist with challenging physical conditions (e.g., snow removal, inclement weather).

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently stand, walk, use hands to handle tools, climb ladders, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate verbally.
• Occasional lifting of 70 lbs, pushing or pulling heavy items (e.g., appliance dolly up to 200 lbs, moving appliances, water heaters, etc.).
• Ability to work in awkward positions and adverse weather conditions.
