What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manual Machinist / Machinist position at Select Healthcare?
Education: High school diploma/GED preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Performs mechanical assembly of machines & related large sub-assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and basic machining specifications.
- Welding and wiring electrical (panels and cables) assembly.
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Manual Machinist or similar machine shop position.
- Hands-on experience with manual lathes and milling machines.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of machining practices, tooling, tolerances, speeds, and feeds.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
