About The Role
As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting customers throughout the quoting and order process. You will be the customer's primary point of contact from initial quote request through order and purchase processing, providing clear updates and ensuring accuracy at every step, contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career looking to build hands-on experience in customer service and order coordination.
This is a full-time, On-Site opportunity located in Bear, DE.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the customer's primary point of contact for incoming quote requests
- Prepare accurate, timely price quotes and send them back to customers
- Process incoming sales orders, converting quotes to orders with accurate data entry
- Process incoming purchase orders to suppliers and vendors
- Monitor stock levels and inventory records for accuracy, flagging discrepancies or reorder needs
- Communicate order status, timelines, and any delays or changes proactively to customers
- Escalate issues or blockers internally for timely resolution
- Update and maintain accurate records of quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, and inventory in our system
- Confirm order completion and coordinate invoicing requirements
What You Know
- Interest in customer service, order coordination, or sales/purchasing support (prior experience a plus, not required)
- Comfortable with basic data entry and general computer use
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams
- Reliable and organized, with a willingness to ask questions and follow processes
- Comfortable in a primarily desk-based, computer-focused role
