What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Assistant position at Select Group?
Century 21 Select Real Estate is looking for a detail-oriented candidate to join our Payroll Team in Yuba City. The candidate will be capable of working independently to complete a high volume of payroll and timekeeping tasks accurately and timely.
This is an in-person position. No remote work available.
The best qualified candidates will possess:
- Ability to perform a variety of payroll, hours processing, wage assignments
- filing, recordkeeping, and general ledger analysis efficiently
- Attention to detail
- Responsibility for performing effective research to resolve payroll and timecard discrepancies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Intermediate Excel knowledge and proficiency
- Keeps management informed of any significant problems
- Knowledge of Wage and Hour Laws
- Ability to complete special projects and miscellaneous projects as assigned
- Highly organized self-starter with excellent time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take direction and also work independently
- Maintain high level of confidentiality
