This is a required team driving position due to the transportation of live animals (day-old poults). Drivers must be comfortable working closely with a co-driver to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery.
- Team driving is mandatory for this role
- Drivers are home weekly, with schedules designed to balance operational needs and home time
- This location includes a combination of local and long-haul routes
- Drivers may be away from home up to 3 nights per week on long-haul assignments
- Loading and unloading of live animals is required

We are seeking a dependable CDL Class A Team Driver to safely transport day-old poults while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare, biosecurity, and product integrity.

This position reports directly to the On-Site Transportation Manager.

- π΅ Sign-on bonus: $2,500 β $5,000 (based on experience)

- Non-OT eligible under Motor Carrier Exemption

π§ Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Must be 21 years or older (interstate driving requirement)
- Team driving is required for this position
- Willing and able to work non-local and overnight routes
- Comfortable starting work in the early morning hours
- Must be available to work weekends as needed
- Ability to safely handle live animal transportation
π Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport day-old poults between production and customer locations
- Follow strict biosecurity, sanitation, and animal welfare protocols
- Perform required loading and unloading of live animals
- Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with team driving partner and operations staff
- Maintain confidentiality of company operations and customer information
