What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ikea Routes- Delivery and Assembly Contractor position at Select Express & Logistics?
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR: DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY OF IKEA PRODUCTS
The work available involves the delivery of IKEA products. Due to the volume of work available, a larger vehicle is necessary to complete the work. Box Trucks preferred
PLEASE NOTE: This is a 1099 position.
Requirements:
- Must have a vehicle capable of carrying larger items. Box Trucks Preferred
- Comply with vehicle registrations and DOT/med card as well as various state laws for the commercial vehicle being used to complete work
- Vehicle liability insurance-CSL insurance varies based on vehicle type (details upon inquiring to contract)
- You must have a reliable helper. Two-man teams required for this work.
- You must own and maintain your own tools needed for the completion of the work offered
Compensation:
- Settlements are processed weekly.
- Rates are based on job(s) completed. This is a 1099 position.
