Role Description The Healthcare Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO, responsible for leading healthcare construction projects from planning through closeout. This role oversees project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality standards, coordinating closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams. Day-to-day tasks include developing project plans, reviewing drawings and specifications, tracking progress, managing change orders, and ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and building codes. The Healthcare Project Manager monitors site activities, supports field supervision, mitigates risks, and drives timely resolution of issues. The role also involves preparing regular status reports, leading project meetings, supporting procurement, and promoting a culture of safety and collaboration on all assigned projects.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing healthcare or commercial construction projects, including responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Strong project planning, scheduling, and coordination skills, with proficiency in construction management software and standard office tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare facility requirements, building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations relevant to commercial construction.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal staff.
  • Ability to analyze technical documents, interpret drawings and specifications, and support field teams in resolving construction challenges.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent experience in healthcare construction considered.
  • Prior on-site experience in healthcare projects and relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, LEED) are beneficial.
