Job Summary:
A leading private equity firm is seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations to manage investor reporting for the firm. This role reports directly to the Head of Portfolio Reporting and involves close collaboration with senior leadership, requiring exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of portfolio companies across private equity investments.
- Provide responsive and proactive support to existing investors, addressing inquiries and requests efficiently.
- Maintain active relationships with portfolio companies to stay informed on key developments and changes.
- Collaborate with investment and business teams, as well as portfolio company leadership, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Contribute to periodic performance reporting, including investor templates, dashboards, reports, marketing materials (e.g., Pitchbooks, PPMs, DDQs), and internal management packs.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support strategic insights.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in investor relations within Private Equity or Venture Capital.
- Strong understanding of performance metrics and value drivers in PE/VC.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and ability to create clear, professional presentations.
- Familiarity with portfolio monitoring tools and investor relations systems.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
