Investment Banking Vice President - Technology
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
We are partnering with a leading, well-established investment banking platform to hire a Vice President for its Technology Investment Banking team in Dallas. This is an opportunity to join a growing, highly regarded franchise with strong deal flow and long-term commitment to the technology sector.
The team advises founder-owned, private equity-backed, and public technology companies on M&A, strategic advisory, and capital markets transactions, working closely with senior leadership and industry executives.
The Role
As a Vice President, you will play a critical leadership role in transaction execution and client engagement, while helping to develop junior bankers and drive business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end transaction execution across M&A and strategic advisory assignments
- Manage analysts and associates on financial modeling, valuation, and materials preparation
- Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact on active engagements
- Prepare and review pitch decks, CIMs, management presentations, and board materials
- Partner with senior bankers on business development and client coverage initiatives
- Mentor junior team members and uphold a high-performance, collaborative culture
Candidate Profile
- 5-8 years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on technology
- Prior experience at a middle-market or sector-focused investment bank preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex M&A transactions with minimal supervision
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution skill set
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Track record of mentoring junior bankers and working closely with senior stakeholders
