We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer to join a Cloud Infrastructure team focused on building and automating modern AWS-based platforms and services. This role will drive cloud adoption, infrastructure automation, and platform engineering initiatives while partnering with application, security, and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build AWS cloud solutions with a strong focus on automation and Infrastructure as Code.
Develop Python-based frameworks, APIs, and tooling to support cloud operations and CI/CD pipelines.
Improve cloud security, scalability, and operational reliability across the platform.
Drive cloud transformation initiatives and promote engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
Qualifications
5 years of software engineering or cloud engineering experience.
Strong Python development background, including APIs, microservices, OOP, and testing frameworks.
Experience building cloud automation solutions in AWS (Azure is a plus).
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Swagger, Git, GitHub/GitLab, and Jenkins.
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
Financial services or high tech experience required
Salary : $150,000 - $325,000
