The firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate to join its Asset Management team, with a focus on Multifamily. This individual will play a critical role in driving performance across a national portfolio, optimizing operations, and executing strategic initiatives to maximize asset value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead asset management efforts for a portfolio of multifamily and student housing properties across various U.S. markets.
- Develop and execute business plans, including value-add strategies, capital improvements, and operational enhancements.
- Monitor property performance through financial analysis, market research, and benchmarking.
- Collaborate with property managers, leasing teams, and third-party vendors to ensure operational excellence.
- Prepare and present detailed asset-level reporting to senior leadership and investors.
- Support acquisition underwriting and due diligence for new investments.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense reduction.
- Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, competitive positioning, and regulatory changes impacting the portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in institutional real estate asset management, with a strong focus on multifamily and/or student housing.
- Proven track record of driving NOI growth and executing value-add strategies.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to travel as needed.
