We are working with a private equity firm based in Boca Raton focused on investing in lower middle-market companies within the Industrials and Business Services sectors. The firm partners with founder-owned and management-led businesses to drive long-term value creation through operational improvement, organic growth, and disciplined add-on acquisition strategies.
The firm is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join the investment team. The Associate will play an active role across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio company support. This is a highly analytical and execution-oriented role with meaningful exposure to senior investment professionals and portfolio company management teams.
- Evaluate new investment opportunities through detailed financial, operational, and industry analysis
- Build and maintain three-statement operating models, LBO models, and return analyses
- Support due diligence efforts, including coordination with third-party advisors and management teams
- Prepare investment committee materials, deal memoranda, and internal presentations
- Assist in transaction execution, including LOIs, financing materials, and closing documentation
- Monitor and support portfolio companies, including KPI tracking, board materials, and add-on acquisition analysis
- Conduct market research and thematic work within Industrials and Business Services verticals
- 1-3 years of experience in private equity or investment banking, with Industrials and/or Business Services coverage strongly preferred
- Proven financial modeling and analytical skill set
- Strong understanding of LBO structures and investment return metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution; strong academic performance
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
