Overview
Our client, a leading global investment firm, is seeking an Associate to join its U.S. Private Credit team. This small, high-performing group invests up and down the capital stack, with a strong focus on more complex and higher‑risk private credit opportunities.
The Associate will operate in a lean environment with significant exposure, providing critical support to senior investors throughout the underwriting and execution process.
- Underwrite private credit investment opportunities across a range of industries.
- Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, market and competitive research, and credit analysis.
- Support investment structuring, negotiation processes, and legal documentation.
- Manage deal workflows and collaborate with internal stakeholders across credit, public markets, and asset management.
- Prepare investment memos and contribute to full-cycle deal execution.
- 1-4 years of experience
- Experience at:
- Direct lending, opportunistic credit, and special situations investment firms
- LevFin Investment Banking groups
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience evaluating or supporting credit or structured investment opportunities
- Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and professional maturity
- $200,000-$225,000 base salary plus discretionary bonus
