A top-tier middle-market investment bank based in Chicago is seeking experienced Investment Banking professionals with a strong track record in M&A transactions. Experience within the Consumer industry is a plu. This role is ideal for candidates with prior investment banking experience who are looking to deepen their sector expertise and contribute to high-impact deal execution.

• Lead and support all aspects of M&A transaction execution, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and preparation of marketing and client materials.
• Conduct in-depth industry and company research with a focus on the food and beverage sector.
• Prepare and review confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and other transaction-related documents.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and strategic discussions alongside senior bankers.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  
  

• 2 years of prior investment banking experience at a recognized firm, with direct involvement in M&A transactions.
• Demonstrated exposure to or interest in the Consumer industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline with strong academic credentials.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
