A rapidly growing Multi-Billion AUM LMM Buyout Private Equity firm with offices throughout the East Coast US is looking to add an indivdual on at the Associate level for a summer 2025 start. The firm focuses on Healthcare investments and is flexilbe on the office you can sit out of. The firm has expanded rapidly from both a head count and fund raising standpoint having just recently closed out fund raising for their newest fund leaving plenty of dry powder for you and the team to go out and invest. Senior leadership at the firm comes from top notch schools and firms as well as provdes junior candidates with an upward path internally within the company. - Deal Sourcing and Execution: Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in the healthcare sector, including conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation analysis.
- Transaction Management: Assist in managing all aspects of M&A transactions, from initial contact through closing, including coordinating with legal, financial, and operational teams.
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential investment targets within the healthcare industry.
- Portfolio Management: Support the management of portfolio companies, including performance monitoring, strategic planning, and value creation initiatives.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare detailed financial analyses, including LBO models, DCF analyses, and other valuation techniques to support investment decisions.
- Presentation Preparation: Develop and present investment memos, pitch books, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, advisors, and potential investment targets
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in nvestment Banking, with a focus on M&A transactions (Healthcare or Business Services focused preffered)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the healthcare sector, including key trends, regulatory environment, and competitive dynamics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to a variety of audiences.I
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
