A leading multi‑strategy investment manager is expanding its fundamental credit platform and seeking an experienced Credit Analyst (7-12 years) to join a growing team. This is buildout, offering the ability to help shape investment processes and influence portfolio construction during a key growth phase.
The analyst will be responsible for bottom‑up fundamental credit research within the consumer and retail sectors, with exclusive sector ownership. The mandate spans both high‑yield and leveraged loans, supporting investments across the firm's CLO vehicles and hedge fund credit strategies.
This is a high‑visibility seat with cross‑product exposure, direct interaction with PMs, and the opportunity to contribute to both liquid and structured credit portfolios.
- Conduct deep fundamental research on consumer and retail names across HY bonds and leveraged loans
- Produce investment theses, financial models, and relative value analysis
- Monitor existing positions and sector developments; present actionable ideas to PMs
- Collaborate with the CLO and HF teams to provide consistent credit views across both sleeves
- Engage with management teams, bankers, and research counterparts
- Contribute to ongoing buildout of processes, coverage frameworks, and best practices
- 7-12 years of relevant credit experience focused on high yield and leveraged loans
- Buy‑side experience is required (hedge fund, CLO manager, credit fund, or multi‑strategy platform)
- Strong track record covering consumer and/or retail sectors
- Ability to work across both CLO and hedge fund credit mandates
- Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑moving, idea‑driven environment
- Self‑starter interested in joining a platform undergoing significant growth and scaling
