Equity Research Analyst - Consumer Retail
Location: New York City
Representing: Global Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund
We are partnering with a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund seeking to hire an Equity Research Analyst with a strong focus on U.S. Consumer Retail. This is an exciting opportunity to join a cross-PM, central research function that supports a group of predominantly macro-driven portfolio managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide deep fundamental research and actionable insights across U.S. Consumer Retail sectors, including Hardlines, Broadlines, and Softlines.
- Originate and maintain named coverage within the Consumer Retail space.
- Collaborate with multiple PMs to identify and evaluate investment opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3-5 years of equity research experience with a proven track record of originating coverage.
- Strong sector expertise in U.S. Consumer Retail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
