Capital Markets Associate

The Capital Markets team focuses on advising private equity sponsors and private companies on financing transactions, including acquisitions, growth capital, structured capital, and recapitalizations. The team provides full-service support from initial marketing through closing, combining strong transaction execution experience with industry-specific insights to optimize positioning and outcomes.
The Associate will play a key role in supporting capital raising efforts, evaluating financing alternatives, and executing transactions. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Support execution of debt and minority equity financing transactions, including lender/investor outreach, due diligence, documentation, and closing processes
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate capital structures, credit metrics, and financing options
- Conduct market research on lending institutions, private credit funds, equity investors, and transaction comparables to inform client recommendations
- Prepare client presentations and marketing materials, including Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), and support client and investor interactions
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and senior bankers to deliver integrated advisory services
- Support credit underwriting and debt structuring analysis, including assessing leverage, coverage ratios, and cash flow impacts
- Assist in managing diligence processes, including organizing data rooms and coordinating management and investor Q&A
- Contribute to business development efforts, including pipeline management and relationship development with financing sources
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, including transaction execution experience
- Minimum 2 years of private credit experience required
- Strong understanding of debt and equity structures (e.g., senior, unitranche, mezzanine, structured equity)
- Experience supporting credit underwriting and debt structuring analysis
- Advanced financial modeling and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Salary : $160,000 - $175,000
