Position : Private Credit / Asset-Based Finance Associate or Vice President
Location : New York, NY
Role Summary : My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join their growing asset-based finance private credit team. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing, structuring, and executing a broad range of transactions, as well as managing and monitoring portfolio investments. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and complex deals, contributing to the firm's strategic growth in the private credit space.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deal Origination : Identify and source new investment opportunities across various sectors, including real assets, energy, infrastructure, and consumer lending.
- Due Diligence : Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
- Structuring and Execution : Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of asset-based finance transactions, ensuring alignment with the firm's investment criteria and risk appetite.
- Portfolio Management : Monitor and manage portfolio investments, providing ongoing support to portfolio companies and ensuring compliance with investment terms.
- Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, intermediaries, and other market participants.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with senior team members and other departments to support the overall growth and success of the asset-based finance private credit team.
Qualifications :
Associate : 3-5 years of experience in private credit, asset-based finance, investment banking, or a related field.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
