Children's Music Teacher & Private Lesson Instructor
Selah Music Studio | Fargo, ND
Part-Time | $30–$60 per hour
Selah Music Studio is seeking an energetic, engaging, and reliable music teacher to lead our Children's Music Academy parent-child classes and teach private music lessons.
This position is perfect for someone who loves working with young children, enjoys building relationships with families, and is passionate about helping students discover the joy of music.
Responsibilities Children's Music Academy Classes
- Lead interactive parent-child music classes for children ages 4-10
- Sing, play piano, and guide families through engaging musical activities
- No curriculum planning required. Comprehensive lesson plans, materials, and training are provided for Children's Music Academy
- Create a warm, welcoming, and encouraging classroom environment
- Foster a love of music through keyboard, singing, music theory, ear training, and instrument exploration
Private Lessons
- Teach private music lessons based on your skills and experience
- Piano and voice instruction preferred
- Additional instruments are a lus
- Communicate professionally with parents and students
Qualifications
- Strong piano and singing abilities
- Experience working with young children and families
- Teaching experience preferred but not required
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
