In school leadership and management, the primary objective is to provide clear guidance to families, staff, and students while fostering a positive and inclusive environment that supports participation, growth, and academic success. At Su Escuela Language Academy, a private school in Hingham, Massachusetts, we offer a Full Immersion Spanish curriculum for infants through kindergarten, with additional Mandarin instruction available for students ages four and older.
The Early Global Program Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program and providing strong instructional leadership. Key responsibilities include training and supervising staff, ensuring a thorough understanding of the curriculum, monitoring children’s developmental milestones, supporting positive behavior practices, and maintaining effective communication with parents. The director also works closely with teachers to establish clear instructional objectives and to build strong relationships with families.
This role also involves overseeing curriculum development and ensuring that educational standards are consistently maintained while aligning with the school’s mission and vision. In addition, the Early Global Program Director manages student affairs, including discipline procedures, support services, and extracurricular activities that enrich the overall student experience and strengthen language learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee curriculum implementation and provide instructional support to teachers.
Coordinate staff and classroom schedules to ensure smooth daily operations.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the SELA Early Global Learning Program.
Conduct parent conferences and maintain open, professional communication with families.
Evaluate and support instructional improvement through classroom observations, teacher discussions, and fair and consistent evaluation methods.
Conduct teacher evaluations two to three times per year to assess performance and support professional development.
Mentor and support faculty members to enhance teaching effectiveness and encourage professional growth.
Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for students and staff.
Attend weekly meetings with teachers to review educational programs, daily activities, and upcoming events.
Ensure compliance with all applicable licensing regulations and educational standards.
Lead the development and implementation of innovative curricula that address diverse student needs and align with educational standards.
Oversee the administration of educational programs, ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Manage program timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve program goals.
Communicate directly with parents regarding specific student situations and keep the School Director informed while maintaining accurate documentation in student files.
Conduct research on best practices in education and integrate findings into curriculum and program development.
Provide academic guidance and support to students according to their developmental stage.
Foster a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork among educators, students, and administrative staff.
Basic qualifications
Must be “Director I/II Qualified” by EEC.
Must have at least 24 months' successful experience Assistant a Headmaster, directing an early childhood center or being a director in a private school
Bachelor’s Degree required. (Education, Special Needs, Psychology)
Master’s Degree or higher preferred but not required.
Lead Preschool and Infant Toddler certified
Some Spanish Language - Preferable BUT Not required*
Experience teaching at the higher education level with a deep understanding of curriculum development.
Strong writing skills for effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working directly with students in an academic advising capacity

Preferred qualifications
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
