Job Summary:
In school leadership and management, the main objective is to provide clear guidance to both staff and students, creating a positive and inclusive environment that supports participation and success. Here at Su Escuela Language Academy - A Private School in Hingham, MA, we offer a Full Immersion Spanish curriculum for Infants - Kindergarten, with additional instruction in Mandarin for students 4 and up. The Early Global Program Director is responsible for daily operation and instructional leadership. Other duties include training and supervising staff, setting instructional objectives, and working to build a rapport with parents.
This role includes overseeing curriculum development and ensuring that educational standards are maintained, all while aligning with the school’s mission and vision. Managing student affairs is also important, which involves handling discipline, support services, and extracurricular activities to enrich the overall student experience and language learning.
What you’ll do
- Manage day-to-day activities of the SELA Early Global Learning Program
- Evaluate and work to improve teaching through classroom visits, discussions with teachers, and other fair and consistent methods.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Attend weekly meetings with teachers (review educational programs, daily and upcoming events, etc.)
- Meet all applicable licensing regulations.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative curricula that meet diverse student needs and align with educational standards.
- Oversee the administration of educational programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality assurance.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve program goals.
- Communicate directly with parents regarding specific student situations and making the Director aware. Maintain log regarding conversations and situations within student files.
- Conduct teacher evaluations two to three times per year and conduct evaluations.
- Mentor, and support faculty members to enhance teaching effectiveness and professional growth.
- Conduct research to inform best practices in education and integrate findings into program development.
- Provide academic advising to students, guiding them in their educational journeys.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork among educators, students, and administrative staff.
Basic qualifications
- Must be “Director I/II Qualified” by EEC.
- Must have at least 12 months' successful experience directing an early childhood center
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree or higher preferred but not required.
- Lead Preschool and Infant Toddler certified
Preferred qualifications
- Experience teaching at the higher education level with a deep understanding of curriculum development.
- Strong writing skills for effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working directly with students in an academic advising capacity.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
