Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders using barcode scanning technology for logistics accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels within the warehouse management system, ensuring precise stock counts and proper storage.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or coordinate maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment contents against documentation and organizing outbound loads.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols during all manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by maintaining organized storage areas and ensuring efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and manual handling.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials with care during loading/unloading processes.
- Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for inventory counts and order accuracy.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, materials handling, or warehouse supervision is a plus.
- Valid forklift certification or equivalent training in heavy equipment operation preferred.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
