Responsibilities
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and inventory management software to ensure accuracy and stock levels.
- Assist with order picking and packing, utilizing RF scanners, pallet jacks, and order pickers to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch by packaging products securely and verifying order details through data entry and shipping logistics procedures.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory records to maintain precise stock levels.
- Support shipping & receiving processes by coordinating with carriers, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, organizing supplies, and adhering to safety standards in warehouse operations.
Skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (ERP systems) and inventory management software.
- Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and international trade regulations.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Excellent data entry skills combined with basic math abilities for accurate record keeping.
- Experience with order picking & packing, load & unload procedures, and warehouse distribution processes.
- Effective communication skills for customer service interactions and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with trade compliance standards and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus.
