Overview & Position Summary

This executive position will provide leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to Division Presidents, ensuring the maximization of company profits and the achievement of regional growth objectives. The Regional President is responsible for all facets of division operations, including land acquisition, development, construction, sales, and customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operational & Financial Performance Drive profitability by overseeing divisional business plans, monitoring financial results, managing budgets, and ensuring the achievement of forecasting goals.
  • Strategic Leadership Lead, direct, and manage Division Presidents to achieve organizational objectives, growth, and success.
  • Operational Oversight Oversee all aspects of division operations, including Land, Construction, Sales, and Customer Experience, to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Corporate Liaison & Reporting Act as the primary liaison between the Colorado and Utah divisions and Corporate; provide regular, detailed reports, and updates regarding regional performance, activities, and market trends.
  • Compliance & Risk Management Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, the Corporate Compliance Program, and all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Talent Management & Development Responsible for driving recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation, staff development, compensation planning, and retention of division leadership and staff.
  • Industry Leadership Maintain professional affiliations and keep current with industry trends and issues to enhance professional growth and maintain a competitive advantage.


Education & Experience

Required

  • 10 years of experience within the production home building industry, specifically in a senior management capacity
  • 2-3 years of proven hands-on experience as a Division President or similar executive role with full P&L oversight.
  • Deep functional experience covering Land, Purchasing, Construction, Sales, and Finance.


Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to corporate leadership.

  • Expert in cultivating and sustaining robust relationships with diverse stakeholders, including management, staff, the board of directors, and external partners (e.g., banking personnel, public).
  • Possesses outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate, influence, and drive high performance across managerial teams.


Working Conditions

  • This role operates in a professional office environment while providing leadership and oversight across multiple homebuilding divisions within the region.
  • Requires frequent travel between divisional offices, active communities, construction sites, and corporate meetings to support operational oversight and business development.
  • Work may involve visits to construction environments, including partially completed homes and active job sites, which may require adherence to safety protocols.
  • Regular interaction with internal leadership, trade partners, financial institutions, and external stakeholders, including participation in industry events and community functions.
  • Work schedule may include extended hours and occasional evening or weekend commitments to support business operations, strategic initiatives, and market activities.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
  • Ability to travel frequently by car or air to divisional locations, communities, and corporate meetings.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and navigate construction sites, model homes, and community developments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in presentations, meetings, and executive discussions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry light materials such as laptops, documents, or presentation materials.


Compensation

  • Base Salary $400,000-$440,000
  • FLSA Status Exempt
  • Bonus Type Year-end Discretionary
