What are the responsibilities and job description for the Alarm Installation Technician position at Seismic Security?
We install and service alarm systems, CCTV and access control. You will be riding along with me until you prove your knowledge and dependability. I am willing to train the right person. Start times can range from 4:00 am to 8:00 am and will go until the day is complete. Could be 4:00 pm and can go until 9:00 pm. Most of that depends on drive time to job locations. We are based in Maineville, Ohio but we drive all over the tristate. Upon completion of training you will use a company van and company tools. Customer services is and will always be #1. Must have a valid Drivers License.

There are jobs where you will get very dirty. You cannot be afraid of tight places or heights. You will be on a ladder or a lift very frequently.
Dress code is a polo and pants. Appearance must be professional.
Some online training will apply as well as required reading.

Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain alarm systems, including intrusion detection, fire alarms, and surveillance systems.
- Pull required wires for systems and devices.
- Conduct thorough inspections of existing systems to identify issues and recommend necessary upgrades or repairs.
- Collaborate with clients to design customized security solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
- Provide technical support for remote access software related to alarm systems.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and customer interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in alarm technology.
Skills
- Certification in alarm system installation or related field is preferred.
- Experience in field service with a focus on low voltage systems.
- Proficiency in system design for security applications.
- Familiarity with CCTV installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of locksmithing principles is a plus.
- Ability to build and troubleshoot complex alarm systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.
